Diplomacy Island was in trouble like it hadn’t been in many years. A massive fleet of ships began to appear of the horizon and make their way aggressively toward the island. Ships bearing the standard of Cassius of the Wolf Brigade.
Immediately Ra’Cheep flew back to the Croisant and had them leave, even before the great Sea-Wall around Diplomacy Island was raised
As the delegates began organizing their forces to defend the island, our heroes visited each diplomatic compound. It appeared that the diplomats of Genna had already left the island leaving only a very small force of bewildered servants behind. The Frellians (Gnomes) were getting geared up in battle suits. Devi and Pibble made a new friend and collected explosives while Flow and Ra’Cheep allowed the Gnomish investigators to speak directly with the head ambassador of Frell to tell him about the elephants and the reality of the new God.
At the Odrin compound High Odrin Zur had taken the lead in organizing a defense and had set up among the tables in the center of the island. He did not require any help or services. The facilitators allowed Ra’Cheep to arm and organize the servants of Genna. The Druids of Egleband were growing a supply of crops in the event of a siege, and were asked to possibly create a storm to protect the island. The Gaos took to the skies to request reinforcements.
Flow and Ra’Cheep did a seance to find out more about the shield around the island and the name of her Sword. Flow was able to find a way with Pibble’s help to reinforce the shield using this knowledge.
Devi, her ducks, her new Frellian Friend and Ra’Cheep flew out on a bombing run to try to slow down the advancing ships, with some success.
When the boats finally breached the wall our heores stood strong to protect the island. Cassius arrived aided by the mighty power of Idiya. Many of the wolf brigade fell in combat and finally Cassius fell. At last Xyphos, Devi, Flow and the many others that he had wronged were avenged!!!
A massive disturbance in the water formed around the island like a whirlpool, the heroes weren’t yet sure what had caused it. But for a moment the island seemed safe.
