Chapter 1 – Welcome to the Apocalypse

A long way to the North of the heart of Hurnfell two revolutionaries were preparing to undergo a dangerous mission. They were both fairly new to “The Resistance” and hadn’t fully built trust with everyone involved. As the mission began Flow and Devi realized that their concerns were valid as they were arrested and taken to prison while most of the other resistance fighters simply walked away.

Meanwhile somewhere in the heart of Hurnfell a fantastic party was underway at a lord’s estate. Pibble, a young elf was enjoying the party and each of the night’s diversions to the fullest and managed to accidently cause quite a scene. Just a floor below Ra’Cheep was preforming a seance to speak with the lady’s dead relative and discovered that he had been murdered by the lord of the house… unfortunately the walls had ears and guards very quickly scooped up Ra’Cheep and Pibble and sent them to a dungeon to be forgotten.

The four heroes had spent a few weeks in a dirty, depressing high security prison before a thunderous explosion from above ground partly collapsed the prison. The way out was difficult! After escaping their cells, helping to free others, climbing up a ventilation shaft and fighting guards the troop finally found themselves in the offices of the upper prison. A very handy Gnome named Phineus dug a way to the surface and everyone escaped into the sunlight to a world freshly wounded by some kind of explosion. Just up the river Phineus had stashed his paddleboat. The group look forward to getting away from the prison as soon as possible.

While in the prison and escaping the group met several NPC’s
Gurda & Xphos two older women who share a tight bond.  Gurda used to be a soldier
Darla a healer with divine blood
Toki a big, thick farm boy
Phineus a red bearded Gnome with an eye for technology
